Testing or not?

The decision to test yourself for HIV is not an easy one; possibly you will meet a lot of uncertainties and doubts. If you find it hard to make that decision, it will be wise to seek support. You find support from for example somebody close you trust, or your doctor. The most important question you should ask yourself is whether you were exposed to HIV, even if it was a long time ago. If the answer is yes, it is recommended to inform yourself very thoroughly about both the testing of HIV and the treatment of HIV and AIDS.
