General questions about HIV and Aids
If I am HIV negative, does this mean that my partner is negative too?
No. Conclusions from the results of a HIV test can only be drawn for the person who committed the test and not for his/her partner. HIV is not necessarily transferred during unprotected sexual intercourse. However, the risk that it is transferred during unprotected sexual intercourse is always present. You will only be sure if you both do a HIV test.
