The reliability of the MiraTes HIV HomeTest
What is the chance of a false negative result?
A false negative result means that you get a negative test result, but although you performed the test according to the instructions for use, you appear to be HIV infected after all. In clinical studies and in practice there are no recordings of false negative test results. Therefore, if the test is performed according to the instructions, the chance of a false negative test result is statistically negligible.
