The reliability of the MiraTes HIV HomeTest
What is the chance of a false positive result?
A false positive test result means that the test gives a positive test result, while you are not infected with HIV. Because the MiraTes HIV home test is highly sensitive, there is a chance that a positive result is false. The chance of a false positive result differs per person. In case of a positive test result we advice you not to jump to conclusions. You do have to have yourself retested by your doctor.
