About the usage of the MiraTes Pregnancy HomeTest
Can certain medicines or situations be of influence on the test result?
Fertility medicines that contain hCG can affect the test result. Other medications, such as antibiotics, painkillers or contraceptives, that do not contain hCG, do not affect the test result. A recent successful or unsuccessful pregnancy may result in false positive test results. This can also occur in case of ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cysts, or during the menopause. If you receive an unexpected test result, always contact your physician.
